The Harker School Orchestra and Jazz Band, directed by Jaco Wong and Dave Hart, have previously performed at prestigious venues such as Carnegie Hall, Chicago Symphony Center, and Essentially Ellington.
The concert program will showcase a wide variety of repertoire, including early jazz by Duke Ellington, modern big band selections, and orchestral works by Missy Mazzoli, Holst, and Gershwin’s iconic An American in Paris. Audiences will also enjoy selections from beloved film scores and video game soundtracks, bringing the energy and excitement of the studio orchestra to the concert stage.
