At a moment of rising antisemitism, cultural division and widespread misunderstanding of Jewish history, Letters, Light and Love offers a different kind of response. It does not debate or argue. Instead, it allows original Jewish voices, spanning more than 3,000 years, to speak for themselves.

Through letters written in exile and return, faith and doubt, love and loss, audiences experience the continuity of Jewish civilisation through the words of those who lived it. The production reminds us that Jewish identity—and the Jewish connection to the Land of Israel—is ancient, deeply human and continually evolving. 

Letters, Light and Love is an original theatrical production composed entirely of authentic letters—from figures including Maimonides, Herzl, Einstein, Ben-Gurion, Golda Meir and Sir Moses Montefiore, alongside deeply personal correspondence from ordinary people writing in moments of hope, courage, grief and resilience.

 Performed by leading actors, musicians and public figures, these letters are woven together with music and film to create a single theatrical narrative celebrating Jewish history, identity and resilience.
