In recognition of Nowruz and the enduring voice of Iranians, this special concert features a rare live appearance by Parissa, the Grande Dame of Iranian music, whose performances have been banned in Iran since 1979. Returning to Farhang’s stage for the first time since 2019, she is joined by opera star Golda Zahra, making her Persian-language debut, and the Iranshahr Orchestra led by Maestro Shahab Paranj. Presented by Farhang Foundation and the UCLA Herb Alpert School of Music.
