FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Can I bring my children? Do children need a ticket?

Children are welcome at Royce Hall.

Lap-sitting is permitted if a child is 3 years old or younger and they are small enough that the child’s head is no taller than that of the adult when sitting in their lap.

Children 4 years old and above, and any child requiring their own seat, requires a valid ticket for entry.

For more information on the age-appropriateness of any performance please call the UCLA Central Ticket Office at  310-825-2101.

What if a program is cancelled or changed?

All programs and events are subject to change. If an event must cancel, we will notify you ASAP.

How Do I Get To Royce Hall?

Royce Hall and Parking Structure 5 are located at 340 Royce Drive, Los Angeles, CA 90095.

If you are being dropped off/taking ride share please use this address: 10745 Dickson Court, Los Angeles, CA 90095. This address will direct you to the flagpole turnaround located at the front of Royce Hall. Once dropped off proceed to the west towards the fountain/Royce Quad - Royce Hall will be on your right.

Why Is Parking So Expensive?

Parking rates are set by UCLA Transportation & Parking Services 310-794-7433, transportation@ts.ucla.edu. All campus staff, students and visitors are required to pay for parking, whether they’re coming to work, coming to a show, or coming to class.

What Time Should I Get There? What Happens If I’m Late?

The Royce Hall lobby opens 1 hour to curtain, arrive early and take advantage of our beautiful Terrace before the show. 

Late seating polices vary by performance, we cannot guarantee late entry or offer refunds, please make sure you leave yourself plenty of time to arrive and park.

Where Can I Get Food Before/During/After The Performance?

Light concessions are available for purchase an hour before performances and during intermissions for select performances.

Is Royce Hall Handicapped Accessible, ADA Compliant?

The house at Royce Hall includes ADA seating, aisle-side transfer seats with folding armrests and is equipped with an assistive-listening system. (Headsets are available free of charge) Guests are able to access to the seating in the orchestra without the use of steps, there is an elevator to access seating in the balcony. 

Free wheelchair assistance from the parking structure is available.
