The Association of Chinese Americans presents
The 35th Annual Chinese American Culture Night: All That We Owe
Sat., May 4 at 7PM

We are proud to welcome you to the Association of Chinese Americans’s 35th annual Chinese American Culture Night: All That We Owe. This production features a student-written and directed play with cultural performances from Wushu, ACA All Day, Chinese Cultural Dance Club, ACA Lion Dance, and Chinese Music Ensemble.

This year’s storyline follows two students, a third-generation Chinese American and a Chinese immigrant, whose polar opinions on familial relations highlight the tension and bitterness that can stir between different, but equally strong, definitions of cultural identity. Suddenly forced together, they must learn to understand each other and see the merit of the otherʼs perspective, all while working through the personal guilt that shapes their own families.
