For 31 years, the Riordan Programs have focused on developing tomorrow’s leaders with unparalleled resources for first-generation college students. Join us in celebrating the accomplishments of our program and its graduates at our annual fundraiser gala, featuring an awards presentation for our alumni, board members and advocates, and concert by Black Violin.

Black Violin is the duo of classically trained violist and violinist Wil B. And Kev Marcus, who mesh classical music with hip-hop influences to create a distinctive multi-genre sound. They have shared the stage with notable artists including Kanye West, Aerosmith and Tom Petty, and have collaborated with Wu-Tang Clan, Wyclef Jean and Alicia Keys. Recently, Black Violin was announced as the Turnaround Artistfor Mary B. Bethune Elementary School in their hometown of Broward County, FL. Turnaround Arts, a national education program of the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts, infuses arts into struggling schools to support overall reform efforts. The program was founded by President Obama’s Committee on the Arts and the Humanities in 2012.

The Riordan Programs empower our most promising young adults to realize their potential and transform their lives through our Scholars Program, College to Career and MBA Fellows Program. We offer students unique opportunities through educational workshops and transformative experiences, and excel at engaging diverse individuals from underrepresented areas to thrive in business and leadership.

As we embark on this special evening, we invite you to celebrate the accomplishments of the Riordan Programs and those they benefit – and learn more about how our graduates are bravely changing the world.

All proceeds to benefit the Riordan Scholars program, scholarships and fellowships.
